My name is Larry Green, CEO of System Pavers. I’ve been in the interlocking Paving stone business for over 30 years, originating a Company in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1978. Nearly 15 years later, I decided to bring that unique experience to California and co-founded System Pavers in 1992.
Since then, my family and I have been blessed with living the American Dream. Along the way we have made many great friends while also undertaking outdoor living home improvements for so many people just like you – some 40,000 clients in all. Over time, many friends and clients have expressed interest in my country of origin - the unmatched beauty and diversity of majestic landscapes, the animal wildlife and safari experiences, the culture and shift from Apartheid to what today is a Democratic Country, the ongoing economic and social challenges including that of AIDS and it’s impact... and so much more.
Inspired by such genuine interest and enthusiasm, my wife Debbie and I decided to host our first group visit to South Africa in February 2006. It was a five-star adventure for a group of California business leader friends and their spouses/significant others. This journey was undertaken by 27 well-traveled couples who rated the experience as “life changing” and “one of the best travel experiences of all time.”
Since then, Debbie and I continued making an annual trip to South Africa, each time taking along friends who were interested in sharing the experience. Our greatest pleasure has been hosting and witnessing the awe, enjoyment, education, and fun our guests have encountered as well as enjoying the incredible quality of time spent together.
